  Lakeview Cemetery is the oldest cemetery owned by the City and is located south of Pershing Blvd. with access off Seymour Ave. For well over 100 years Lakeview Cemetery has functioned as the final resting place for Cheyenne residents. It has also served as a repository of the City's history and as a reflection of the growth and development of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and the West. --City of Cheyenne Website
  
  Well maintained and historic cemetery dating to the mid to early 1800's. From the first pioneer family to the first Governor of Wyoming. Artistic headstones in addition to legends have been laid to rest here.
